Welcome to 2019

Hello! And welcome to the year 2019, New year, new opportunities, a new outlook on life.
For me, the start of 2019 means leaving Disney behind. I am moving back home to Australia and need to start looking for an ‘Adult Job’, that is a terrifying thought.

Before I do that though, I am starting the new year off by going to the Bahamas for a few days to rest, recover and reset from my crazy year at Disney.

I didn’t post a lot last year, because I was indeed very busy working, living and breathing everything Disney had to offer me. This year I do want to work on this blog and get back into YouTube. So below is a list of goals I want to achieve in 2019.

Goals

 YouTube
My goal for YouTube this year is to post a video every Tuesday. I missed posting Tasha Tuesday’s and can’t wait to talk about my experience doing the Disney College Program and getting more into Skits and possible even miniseries. I would also like to do Mad March 2019. This one is going to be a challenge as I have no videos filmed and I won’t be home until the end of January, giving me one month to film and edit 20 videos. My back up plan is to 12 videos and has 3 each week.

I also cannot wait to get back into vlogging. I know I am going to regret not filming more often whilst at Disney. And I am very happy that I was able to live in the moment, however, it is very fun going back and watching my own vlogs and remembering things I had forgotten about. So I would like to vlog at least once a week as well.

My subscriber count is to be at 1000. My aim for the end of 2018 was to be at 500 and if I had kept going with YouTube all year I know I would be at that number, so getting back into YouTube I feel I can gain 600 subscribers this year and be able to get to that 1000 threshold to earn money once again on YouTube.

Blog
This blog and I have a love-hate relationship, I love that I have it, I hate that I don’t make time to write and upload. This year will be different!!

Since I know I can schedule all posts on this blog, I have no excuse to not spend a day every week writing two or three posts and then uploading them. So that’s what I’m going to do. Just like YouTube, I will be uploading once a week on this blog, probably a Friday or Saturday. These posts will be about Disney and extra things I did on my college program, makeup, reviews, anything that doesn’t fit onto my YouTube channels will be on here.

I would like to have a new layout on my blog where it has categories and then in each one of those are the posts that relate. So a cooking tab would have all the cooking blog posts, makeup would have makeup etc. I don’t think this is a goal for this year for my blog as I would like to see how my commitment with the uploads go before I spend money on making it look pretty.

In terms of followers for this blog, it would be nice to get to 50. I don’t know as much about blog numbers as I do about YouTube subscribers and will need to make time to research it.

Health
This is a fun topic, I have been up and down with my weight, health levels and habits for the past 2 years. I'll get down to a weight I love and then get lazy and go right back up again. And my weight level and health levels usually a line pretty well. My goal this year is to be more consistent with my healthy habits. I have signed up to small group training and would like to keep going at least once a week as well as going on early more OR night runs on walks either out in the park by my house or inside on my treadmill.

I would also like to improve my healthy eating habits. I want to do more prep meals and not buy food when I am at work, only for when I go to places to eat for fun. I think this will help improve not only my fitness but also my bank account.

Finally, I would like to run a 5k. I ran my first 5k at Disney in 2018 and loved it, and would like to run another. I need to do some research to find which 5k and when it is to have a timeline for this particular goal.

Travel
After living my dream for a year, I can’t just sit at home and not go anywhere. I have already planned some trips for 2019. My big one for 2019 is to go back to Disney as a guest in September. I am going to go for 2 weeks to visit all of my USA friends that I made whilst I was working in Disney. I will also be going to Disneyland with one of my American friends who has never been before.

So these are some of my goals for 2019. I will (hopefully) be doing an update about halfway through the year.
What are some of your goals for this year and how do you plan on achieving them?

See you next week!
