Secert of Sulphur Springs

Image
Disney+ has ALOT of content so it is sometimes hard to figure out what to watch, what is worth your time and what is good quality. Well to help narrow your search, today I will be reviewing the Disney+ Orginal show Secret of Sulphur Spring. This show follows Garret (played by Preston Oliver) as he and his family move from Chicago to Sulpher Springs. in his new house, Garret and his newfound friend Harper (Played by Kyleigh Curran) discover a secret portal that allows them, to travel back in time. The two go on an adventure to uncover clues about a mystery involving a girl that disappeared 30 years ago.  This show is captivating from episode one. It does have a few cringy moments, however, the story itself is well worth the watch. The pacing is good and each episode leaves the audience wanting more.  The character of Harper is strong, independent and adventurous. She is an excellent role model for young women as she learns from her mistakes as the season goes on. I also ...

HELLLLOOOO Lovely people. Oh boy, 2020 was a rollercoaster of a year! What did you get up to in your year of quarantine? Did you use your newfound free time to learn a new skill? get fit and healthy? Catch up on some tv shows? Let me know by commenting below! For me 2020 meant a lot of time watching television, I watched the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, films and television shows in chronological order. I spent a lot of time playing Animal Crossing New Horizons, which was a lot of fun. Like most people, I stress ate and gained a few kilos. I believe the world is calling it COVID Weight.  During the pandemic, my partner at the time got stuck here from the USA and we got to live with each other for about five months. When he eventually moved back home it became really hard to go back to long distance. Especially since we had spent so much time together during 2020. A combination of going back to long-distance and not knowing when we would see each other in person again, o...

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

longing for the outdoors? Sad you can't hang out with your friends? missing traveling to new places? Then Animal Crossing: New Horizons is for you! This is the lastest game for the Nintendo Switch and it has taken the world by storm. The Animal Crossing franchise has always been popular but I dare say the success of this game was helped by the pandemic in the world. In saying that, this game is still Epic. I have never played any Animal Crossing game before this one, I knew the basic concept from my friends who had played previous versions and some chit chat on Facebook about this one. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about but didn't have a switch of my own so I downloaded it on to my boyfriends switch. two days later I went and bought my own with a copy of the game so I could have my own island. Animal Crossing new Horizons is the 5th version of the game which follows along with your character as they move to a desert- island to make a new home. Along with Tom Noo...

It's a scary time full of uncertainty and most of us just have one question we want to be answered: Where can I get more toilet paper?  In all seriousness, This worldwide pandemic can seem scary, a lot of places have shut down. So there is no travel, no gym, no malls to shop at. what are you meant to do during this time? Well here are a few things to do whilst you are locked in your houses for the next few weeks. 1. Learn a New Skill There are so many youtube videos online or apps you can download to learn new skills. These skills don't even have to be useful, just fun party tricks like learning how to Juggle or Solve a Rubix cube with your eyes closed. Long Distant Love

Image
For those of you who don't know, I am in a long distant relationship. My Boyfriend currently lives in Orlando Florida, whilst I live in Adelaide Australia. That is 10,056 miles or 16,184 kilometres apart. The time is between 15 and a half hours and 13 and a half hours apart depending on daylight savings.    We met, as many people in my situation for, on my Disney College Program. He was my coordinator and I was his cast member. He moved locations and we got closer and then November 18th he asked me officially to be his girlfriend. It was very romantic. Maybe one day he will be in a video with me and we can go through the details together, a little hint for when he reads this. This post is just about my experience so far with being in a long term relationship. Going through the best and worst parts of it. Firstly we have been together *officially* for 5 months. There was the awkward are we aren't we dating for a month beforehand so officially 5 mont...

The Pursuit of a Better Me

Image
This is something that I don't talk about online because it is a  very personal topic to me and that is my weight. Now the reason it's so personal it because like a lot of people it can be embarrassing to put all that information out in the world to be made fun of or judged for one's appearance. I know I am not a big girl, I know that to most people I look like a healthy weight and that I am not overweight by pure looks. However for my height, I am considered overweight and to myself, I am generally unhappy with my weight at the point in time. In 2018 I lost a lot of weight very quickly without ever really trying. I was broke so I ate a lot of food at home, I was walking more because of work and I was doing a work out once a week to relieve stress from work and have some me time. It was these unintentional things that led me to lose around 10kg in about a month a half. I looked in the mirror one day and was amazed at what I looked like. I went out and bought ne...

Sugar and Spice

Recently I got back from holiday in Sydney and it was so much fun! I got to see so many iconic sights, you can go to my previous post and have a look at some of my pictures from my trip.  Whilst there I ate at a lot of really nice places, one of my favourites was Sweethearts Rooftop Bar. I went on a date here and it was beautiful, I loved the atmosphere and aesthetic. It was partly undercover with some open areas for dancing. Without sound too old, the music was a little loud to have a conversation at, however, we did go on a Saturday night so it may have been different in the middle of the week as it was more club-like the night I went.  Unfortunately, smoking was permitted on the rooftop bar as well, it was only in the open are parts, however, the rooftop is not huge so the smoke made its way over to where I was sitting pretty fast.   When looking at the bar online it said we needed to book, however when we arrived the bartender told us ...
