Hello Again, I have some exciting news. I WORK FOR DISNEY WORLD!  If you watch my YouTube channel you will know that I love Disney. we this year I decided to apply for the cultural exchange program for the 2018 intake and I got it! If you would like to see the day I got my letter visit my Vlogging Channel. So for anyone looking at doing the program in the future or is just interested in hearing about what it is like to apply I hope this blog post helps. This post will be about everything about the application process. As I am still currently waiting to start, this blog post will end after the 'What do is the interview like' section. I will talk a little bit about what will need to be done after accepting the position, but as I am still working through all the paperwork in that section, I won't be able to give you all the information. That is for another post.  WHAT IS THE CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM? The Cultural Exchange Program is an international...

To the Max Factor!

Image
Time for another make up review. This one is on the Max factor quad pallet, specifically the gold pallet.  This pallet is usually 20 dollars, I was lucky enough to get it half price for 10. It can be brought at Target and some Pharmacy's. I love it so much. It is my favourite gold eye shadow I currently own and is my go to pallet when I need to make my make up look more 'specky' in a short amount of time. For a 'drug store' make up brand, it has great pigment. It goes on really and is good to blend. I tend to use the lightest shade on the corner of my eye, the bright gold on my lid and the dark on my crease. I tend not to use the lighter-brown-gold colour that much as the other three do what I want. I highly recommend this pallet (or the other colour combos) for people who are starting out with make up and don't want to spend heaps on eye shadow. This one is good to play around with and learn how to do eye shadow well. I really want to get ...

Beauty and the Beast

Image
2016/17 seems to be all about live action remakes of Disney Classics. With Cinderella and the Jungle Book already having been released, and now Beauty and the Beast. Now I love the original animated version, the songs were amazing, it was visually beautiful and a childhood classic of mine. I went and saw the live action remake on Friday with my Best Friend Bianca (go check out her blog too!) and let me just say WOW. This version is amazing. The plot and shots are almost parallel to the original. They do a great job at matching scene for scene for 90 percent of the film. The other 10 percent are the extra songs they added (and damn they are good!) Emma Watson does a great job at portraying Belle; I had no idea she has such an amazing singing voice. My personal favourite songs from the film were: Belle Beauty and the Beast Evermore All of the songs are wonderful, though. I also wanted to touch on the controversial 'gay' scenes a...

MAC and Star Trek 50th!

Image
I love science fiction, and one of my favourite shows is Star Trek. Voyager and Next Generation being my go to's when it comes to marathons.  And as some of you know, I love makeup, especially lip products and MAC is one of my favourite brands for a classic lipstick. What do these two things have in common? They both turned 50 in 2016! As a result, they teamed up to create a fantastic range of Star Trek inspired products. This line included mascara, false lashes, lips, eyeshadows and liners. I ordered 5 of the lip products, 3 lipsticks and 2 glosses. All are lovely! All three lipstick shades and lip glosses have tiny specks of glitter in them. As a result, it does feel as though you still have old bits of lip scrubs on your lips, and they glitter tends to dry them a little as well.  The first shade is a lovely gold titled 'LLAP'. Now I wasn't really sure about this colour when I ordered it, it was a last minute add because I thought it w...

Birthday Tarte

Image
Everyone who loves make up has been into a Sephora's, it's a great make up shop with someone the best brands out there. Tarte is one of these brands. As part of the Sephora loyalty Sephora gives you a birthday present, in my case it was sample sizes to two of Tarte's products, a blush and a lip paint.                                                                  First thing to note is that these two colours are gorgeous!  Secondly the blush, called Paaarty.  This is a 12- hour clay product (I have not worn it for more than 8 hours, however it does last the full amount of time). I am not one to wear blush as I don't think pink cheek suit me however, this one I fell in love with. It has a lovely creamy consistency, it goes on well and adds a nice subtle pink to ones cheek, however it is builda...
