Birthday Tarte


Everyone who loves make up has been into a Sephora's, it's a great make up shop with someone the best brands out there. Tarte is one of these brands. As part of the Sephora loyalty Sephora gives you a birthday present, in my case it was sample sizes to two of Tarte's products, a blush and a lip paint.

                                                                 First thing to note is that these two colours are gorgeous! 




Secondly the blush, called Paaarty.  This is a 12- hour clay product (I have not worn it for more than 8 hours, however it does last the full amount of time). I am not one to wear blush as I don't think pink cheek suit me however, this one I fell in love with. It has a lovely creamy consistency, it goes on well and adds a nice subtle pink to ones cheek, however it is buildable if you prefer a more rosy cheek. 



Moving on to the lip paint: Birthday Suit. Lip products of any kind are my favourite! And this colour has become my new favourite for my lips. It goes so well with everything as it is a nude with an undertone of pink to give it the 'girly' hint. It goes very easily and not much product is needed at all. It dries fast and stays on well for about 4 hours without any noticeable change in colour. It does get dry around the 3.5 - 4 hours mark, which is good timing as I found that is when I needed to re-apply it. 

Overall I loved both of these products although the lip paint was my all time favourite and WILL be going back to purchase a full sized product in that shade.

Sugar and Spice

Recently I got back from holiday in Sydney and it was so much fun! I got to see so many iconic sights, you can go to my previous post and have a look at some of my pictures from my trip.  Whilst there I ate at a lot of really nice places, one of my favourites was Sweethearts Rooftop Bar. I went on a date here and it was beautiful, I loved the atmosphere and aesthetic. It was partly undercover with some open areas for dancing. Without sound too old, the music was a little loud to have a conversation at, however, we did go on a Saturday night so it may have been different in the middle of the week as it was more club-like the night I went.  Unfortunately, smoking was permitted on the rooftop bar as well, it was only in the open are parts, however, the rooftop is not huge so the smoke made its way over to where I was sitting pretty fast.   When looking at the bar online it said we needed to book, however when we arrived the bartender told us ...

My Current Goals in Life

My Life right now is absolutely wonderful! I am achieving one of my lifelong dreams of working for Walt Disney World and it is so amazing. I don't really have much else to update you on I just wanted to let everyone know how happy I am! I am also starting to plan and make steps towards achieving my next big goal, to live in New York City for at least a year! I have started to look at the average prices of apartments so I know how much I will need to save. I have also started looking at Jobs that I might be good at and also look interesting that are in New York City!  I have some smaller goals I am working towards at the moment as well, these include all my Disney Goals for the year that I have listed on my youtube channel. here are some of the others I have: 1) To become more fit and healthy      Ultimately I would like to weight between 50 and 55 kg, that is a weight loss of between 10 and 15kg! Homesick

As some of you know, as I seem to talk about it all the time, I have just spend a year in the USA working at Disney World. The exact dates of my being out of Australia are actually December 19 th 2017 to January 17 th 2019. And boy oh boy am I missing home. When this blog post goes live I will have been back in Australia exactly one day. So the list I am making now is everything I miss and am looking forward to seeing again when I get home. The first, and most important is my Cat, Tinker. I miss him so much and have been missing him since about June 2018. My cat and I are very close, he always sits or lays next to me when I am working on my laptop and will sleep on my bed. He is also just cute and fluffy and the more I type the more I miss him. I am also missing my friends. A lot. My Australia friends and I would regularly hang out and do things together, sometimes it would be eating out at a dessert bar or a buffet.
