With the SQUAAAAAAAD


As a College Program Participant at Walt Disney World, I had the pleasure of meeting and making friends with so many amazing people. This post is dedicated to the wonderful people I met at ESPN, our home location and where each of them stole my heart.

We all worked at ESPN, some of us met during training, some of us met a little way down and we all joined up together during the Atlanta Braves Spring Training. The Cabana Girls and the Hawker Boys teamed up and then the extended friend's group finalised when we all bought in friends we had made earlier during training.

The Squad as we called it would, most of the time, party hard and have no regrets! Our regular Club was Senior Frogs, it was almost a weekly event on Tuesday nights. Sunday Nights we would go to Jellyrolls, which is a Piano Bar at Disney's Boardwalk, it is a lot of fun. We would also have parties at peoples houses, hang out at parks. We went to dinner and breakfasts on occasions. We did a lot together. They became like my second family.

 I miss them all so much!

 For most of the Squad, their end date was May 17th. Almost a month ago from this post. As a goodbye, we all went to The Magic Kingdom to watch the fireworks for the last time. It was emotional, I cried ALOT. 

I know that I made lifelong friends with these people and am already planning trips to see them again soon!

Recently I got back from holiday in Sydney and it was so much fun! I got to see so many iconic sights, you can go to my previous post and have a look at some of my pictures from my trip.  Whilst there I ate at a lot of really nice places, one of my favourites was Sweethearts Rooftop Bar. I went on a date here and it was beautiful, I loved the atmosphere and aesthetic. It was partly undercover with some open areas for dancing. Without sound too old, the music was a little loud to have a conversation at, however, we did go on a Saturday night so it may have been different in the middle of the week as it was more club-like the night I went.  Unfortunately, smoking was permitted on the rooftop bar as well, it was only in the open are parts, however, the rooftop is not huge so the smoke made its way over to where I was sitting pretty fast.   When looking at the bar online it said we needed to book, however when we arrived the bartender told us ...

My Current Goals in Life

My Life right now is absolutely wonderful! I am achieving one of my lifelong dreams of working for Walt Disney World and it is so amazing. I don't really have much else to update you on I just wanted to let everyone know how happy I am! I am also starting to plan and make steps towards achieving my next big goal, to live in New York City for at least a year! I have started to look at the average prices of apartments so I know how much I will need to save. I have also started looking at Jobs that I might be good at and also look interesting that are in New York City!  I have some smaller goals I am working towards at the moment as well, these include all my Disney Goals for the year that I have listed on my youtube channel. here are some of the others I have: 1) To become more fit and healthy      Ultimately I would like to weight between 50 and 55 kg, that is a weight loss of between 10 and 15kg! Homesick

As some of you know, as I seem to talk about it all the time, I have just spend a year in the USA working at Disney World. The exact dates of my being out of Australia are actually December 19 th 2017 to January 17 th 2019. And boy oh boy am I missing home. When this blog post goes live I will have been back in Australia exactly one day. So the list I am making now is everything I miss and am looking forward to seeing again when I get home. The first, and most important is my Cat, Tinker. I miss him so much and have been missing him since about June 2018. My cat and I are very close, he always sits or lays next to me when I am working on my laptop and will sleep on my bed. He is also just cute and fluffy and the more I type the more I miss him.
