The Return of the Parentals

Image
As you may know, I am currently living in America working for Walt Disney World. I have been living out of my home since January and haven't seen my parents since January 20th. That was until they came to visit me from July 1st to July 14th! It was so amazing seeing them again! I was starting to feel extremely homesick around mid-June when most of my USA friends had left and my most of my roommates were also departing back to their own homes it was hard not to feel like I should be going home with them. Lucky for me I did have my parents coming to visit which did get me through my homesick phase by counting down the days till I was able to see them again.  The very first thing we did together (After giving each of them the BIGGEST HUG I could) was to go eat dinner. We had a character dining buffet at the Swan and Dolphin resort on the boardwalk and it was VERY filling. The next day we did another character dining, this one was at Tusker House in Disney's Animal ...

My Current Goals in Life

My Life right now is absolutely wonderful! I am achieving one of my lifelong dreams of working for Walt Disney World and it is so amazing. I don't really have much else to update you on I just wanted to let everyone know how happy I am! I am also starting to plan and make steps towards achieving my next big goal, to live in New York City for at least a year! I have started to look at the average prices of apartments so I know how much I will need to save. I have also started looking at Jobs that I might be good at and also look interesting that are in New York City!  I have some smaller goals I am working towards at the moment as well, these include all my Disney Goals for the year that I have listed on my youtube channel. here are some of the others I have: 1) To become more fit and healthy      Ultimately I would like to weight between 50 and 55 kg, that is a weight loss of between 10 and 15kg! The hardest p...

With the SQUAAAAAAAD

Image
As a College Program Participant at Walt Disney World, I had the pleasure of meeting and making friends with so many amazing people. This post is dedicated to the wonderful people I met at ESPN, our home location and where each of them stole my heart. We all worked at ESPN, some of us met during training, some of us met a little way down and we all joined up together during the Atlanta Braves Spring Training. The Cabana Girls and the Hawker Boys teamed up and then the extended friend's group finalised when we all bought in friends we had made earlier during training. The Squad as we called it would, most of the time, party hard and have no regrets! Our regular Club was Senior Frogs, it was almost a weekly event on Tuesday nights. Sunday Nights we would go to Jellyrolls, which is a Piano Bar at Disney's Boardwalk, it is a lot of fun. We would also have parties at peoples houses, hang out at parks. We went to dinner and breakfasts on occasions. We di...

Romance In France

Image
I have been on my Disney College Program for just under 5 months and in this time I have gone on a few dates, here is the story of one of my favourites. One of my friends on the program, who I do like a lot, surprised me one day by coming to my house with 3 bunches of flowers just to ask me on a date. I, of course, said yes. I had always talked about how much I love the restaurant, Cheif De France, at Disney's EPCOT so he decided it was the perfect place for our date. It was so much fun as well because we got dressed up really fancy! This is the outfit I was wearing, the dress is from Forever 21, the jewellery is from Amazon, the bag is from Cotton On and the shoes, which I borrowed from a friend are from,  Easy Steps, and finally, my lipstick is the Liquid Suede by NYX in Cherry Sky. One of my favourite experiences was walking into EPCOT, me in my dress and my date in a suit! I had one woman look at me in shock and then yell 'oh my god she is ...

End of an Era

As some of you may know I volunteer for my local council and am apart of the Youth Advisory Committee (YAC). I have been volunteering with them for 6 years and sadly had to retire from my position due to my move. November was my last meeting and it was a little bittersweet. My final day volunteering was at my local Christmas Pageant. I joined YAC in October of 2011, My Mum thought it would be a good idea to do an activity outside of school. I put in my application, went through an interview process and was accepted! Over the 6 years of me being part of the committee I was apart of something amazing, we would put in so many events for the youth in my local area. Some of my favourite events and things about YAC were. National Youth Week Campbelltown Christmas Pageant  The Feeling of Family and Friendship I started off as one of the youngest people in YAC and ended my time being one of the oldest and longest standing members at the time. I enjoyed...
