MAC the most of lips

MAC lipsticks

I am not one for wearing makeup every day, so on the occasions I do wear some, I like to have the best of the best. And MAC lipsticks are my cherry on top when it comes to this stuff. I am by no means a makeup expert, I do, however, know a good brand when I see one. MAC is that brand. I have a very lovely collection of five MAC lipsticks, in a variety of colours. And I can confidently say that they are my go to lipsticks.


 MAC is defiantly on the expensive side makeup brands, with lips sticks costing up to 40 dollars and while these lipsticks defiantly go a long way and are very good quality, may not be worth that much, especially when there are cheaper duplicates of the same colour. Here are the five I own and why I chose them:


Cyber:
This is a magnificent dark plum colour with red undertones. It is great for a bold winter look and an alternative to a classic red lip. This is also an excellent Halloween colour that is great for costumes or just getting into the spooky spirit. I chose this colour because of I didn’t have any other colour like it in my collection and I think it is important to have a variety of different shades to choose from.

Men Love Mystery:


This is a beautiful lavender violet colour; this shade has a nice matte finish. It works well for an everyday look if you are confident enough to pull off an alternative lip colour. I know it’s not easy for everyone to stray from the classic of pinks and reds. This shade was a present from my dad when he went overseas. He picks it out because purple is my favourite colour, he defiantly chose an excellent colour!

Angel:


This is my favourite shade of MAC Lipstick that I own. It is a pink nude and is so versatile. It can be worn on a night out or a casually during the day. I love this shade so much. It is very moisturising as well because it doesn’t have a matte finish. I chose this colour because I knew I was going to get a lot of wear out of it.

Costa Chic:



This a very lovely shade of bright coral pink with shimmer. I don’t reach for this one as much I thought I would when I first bought it. That’s not to say it is an excellent colour. I think it is a good colour for people who prefer nude lips but want to venture out a bit more. I bought this colour because I don’t have that may light colour in my collection.

Retro Woo:


This lovely red lipstick is a must have in everyone’s collect. A red lip is a classic and one can never go wrong with it. The only problem with this shade is that it is matte and it super drying. I would recommend using a clear lip gloss or balm over the top, just to give it a little bit of moisture, and add a little bit of shine to a matte lip. Of course, if matte is what you are after this is defiantly the way to go just remember to moisturise afterwards.  I purchase this shade because I did not have this shade of red and it is too gorgeous to say no to.

Recently I got back from holiday in Sydney and it was so much fun! I got to see so many iconic sights, you can go to my previous post and have a look at some of my pictures from my trip.  Whilst there I ate at a lot of really nice places, one of my favourites was Sweethearts Rooftop Bar. I went on a date here and it was beautiful, I loved the atmosphere and aesthetic. It was partly undercover with some open areas for dancing. My Current Goals in Life

My Life right now is absolutely wonderful! I am achieving one of my lifelong dreams of working for Walt Disney World and it is so amazing. I don't really have much else to update you on I just wanted to let everyone know how happy I am! I am also starting to plan and make steps towards achieving my next big goal, to live in New York City for at least a year! I have started to look at the average prices of apartments so I know how much I will need to save. Homesick

As some of you know, as I seem to talk about it all the time, I have just spend a year in the USA working at Disney World. The exact dates of my being out of Australia are actually December 19 th 2017 to January 17 th 2019. And boy oh boy am I missing home. When this blog post goes live I will have been back in Australia exactly one day. So the list I am making now is everything I miss and am looking forward to seeing again when I get home. The first, and most important is my Cat, Tinker. I miss him so much and have been missing him since about June 2018. My cat and I are very close, he always sits or lays next to me when I am working on my laptop and will sleep on my bed. He is also just cute and fluffy and the more I type the more I miss him. I am also missing my friends. A lot. My Australia friends and I would regularly hang out and do things together, sometimes it would be eating out at a dessert bar or a buffet.
