Beauty and the Beast
2016/17 seems to be all about live action remakes of Disney Classics. With Cinderella and the Jungle Book already having been released, and now Beauty and the Beast. Now I love the original animated version, the songs were amazing, it was visually beautiful and a childhood classic of mine. I went and saw the live action remake on Friday with my Best Friend Bianca (go check out her blog too!) and let me just say WOW. This version is amazing. The plot and shots are almost parallel to the original. They do a great job at matching scene for scene for 90 percent of the film. The other 10 percent are the extra songs they added (and damn they are good!) Emma Watson does a great job at portraying Belle; I had no idea she has such an amazing singing voice.
