End of an Era
As some of you may know I volunteer for my local council and am apart of the Youth Advisory Committee (YAC). I have been volunteering with them for 6 years and sadly had to retire from my position due to my move. November was my last meeting and it was a little bittersweet. My final day volunteering was at my local Christmas Pageant. I joined YAC in October of 2011, My Mum thought it would be a good idea to do an activity outside of school. I put in my application, went through an interview process and was accepted! Over the 6 years of me being part of the committee I was apart of something amazing, we would put in so many events for the youth in my local area. Some of my favourite events and things about YAC were.
